Alessandro Colizzi writes of how the Nebiolo type foundry found itself behind advancing technology, which lead them to create Forma A new sans serif to compete with Helvetica and Univers following the same line of research as the experimental alphabets produced in the 1920s, upgraded with the latest scientific results of legibility studies.
